Founded in 2023, Jimini AI develops an artificial intelligence co-pilot designed specifically for legal professionals. The technology partially or fully automates tasks such as audits, document analysis, legal drafting, proofreading and research, allowing lawyers to refocus their expertise on higher-value work.

After a three-month trial, Hoche Avocats chose to integrate Jimini AI into its toolkit. It is now available to partners and associates across all departments, as part of a clear innovation strategy serving legal performance and team productivity.

A collaboration led jointly from within the firm

The relationship with Jimini AI is jointly managed by a team of partners and associates at different levels of seniority, working across corporate, tax, employment, technology and litigation. During the trial, they used the tool and identified relevant applications. Group sessions then helped refine these use cases and jointly develop templates suited to the specific needs of each practice area.

Jimini AI then designed and tested prompts based on agreement templates and M&A due diligence reports supplied by Hoche Avocats, enabling the artificial intelligence to produce precise, targeted and actionable analyses automatically.

This co-development phase enabled Jimini AI to offer a genuinely tailored application, closely aligned with the firm's use cases and specific expectations. Jimini is extending this approach to specialise its analysis models for each client.

The firm's long-term commitment to Jimini AI was accompanied by training, both in using the tool and in legal prompting. Jimini AI delivered separate sessions to associates and partners, with the clear objective of demonstrating the value of a specialised co-pilot.

Concrete, measurable results

User feedback is particularly positive. The tool has proven to be effective in:

  • Analysing complex or poorly drafted contracts, with detailed identification of key clauses;
  • Translating legal documents;
  • Proofreading and improving documents by detecting inconsistencies, typographical errors and structural problems;
  • Quickly summarising long documents, such as shareholders' agreements, with a structured section-by-section overview.
